Artist's Comments

This was the second last picture that I started and finished especially for the art show in august at Minto Park, in Ottawa.

Its 12"X16", acrylic.

In all honesty and love, this one was the one that gave me quite a hard time, the sky is...very thick. LOL the original colours are much different then this, but the tree and crows are all very much the fun thing to paint.

I have this Japanese plum tree outside, (or at least thats what I believe it is) and in the summer it turns deep red with these little red berries (that stain everything) and we had a family of crows nesting in the oak tree three doors down from us...the three young were very...amusing, loud, but amusing.

This is inspired by the view out my bedroom window.

The poet ranks far below the painter in the representation of visible things, and far below the musician in that of invisibe things.
