Mood: Gloomy

So.
It's 9:30 am, its a beautiful balmy 25C outside and I am spending the ENTIRE FUCKING DAY in my back lot painting.

I haven't painted since February! FEBRUARY!! ITS APRIL! The ass end of April!!

WHAT THE FUCK!!

Well I rushed to finish the Angel Fish painting (I do btw have a picture of it somewhere complete...) and I was artistically burnt out painting wise. I had at the time four monstrous paintings on the go and because I was a sadist and I needed something fun to work on on the side, I started a fifth...shit no one wonder I haven't even looked at a paintbrush since then. Geez.

Anyway Since I will effectively have the ENTIRE house to myself until monday (BEHEHEHE) and its going to be BEAUTIFUL all day today. I'm spending my achey, hungover self in the back getting sun burnt as all hell painting my pasty white ass off.

WHY?

cause I need too. I've been so...listless and shifty all week that I need to drown myself in something artistic and not work related in anyway.

Today's goal is to work on Ms. And Then Some's octopus and see if I can finish it and while I am waiting for that to dry and rest I will be finishing my dad's orchids.

-IF- I accomplish that I think I'll be satisified enough that I may be able to break myself out of my malaise and attempt a series I can sell.

YAY!

Wish me luck. I hate funks and this one is a bad one.

I have this WONDERFUL sketch in my mind, and I'd kill to be able to get it on paper EXACTLY as I see it, but my skills are beyond lacking in that regard, so what I will actually present you with will probably not look anything like what I want.

I'm glad you're out of your funk and enjoy the nice weather! It's rainy (and hopefully thunderstormy sometime) today so no outside enjoyment for us. Have some fun for me too, ok?

The last time I completed a painting was at the beginning of December...It's so frigging sad!

Glad to hear you're painting though. I was hoping to doodle Brawn in an attempt of support but I must admit my defeat to being busy with stuff I can't even remember the next day but is somehow important =_=; I sometimes wonder if I'm even alive.

If you want critiques or feedback or whatever on your paintings intended for sale, let me know.

Now I'm off wiping my sweaty brow in an attempt to put a doujin on paper. There's nothing quite like ink stains on a pair of white pants.
